Pesticides/Herbicide Awareness & Reduction

In the United States, we use more herbicides and pesticides on our lawns than are used across all of India's farmland. Pesticides and herbicides are poisons, and evidence is mounting that they make us and our pets sick. SAFE is creating educational materials for local residents on alternatives to pesticide use around your home and yard, educating city municipal workers on how to reduce pesticide use on public lands, and working with the city health department to consider the best ways to control mosquito-borne illnesses such as West Nile Virus.
