SAFE advocates for a just, equitable and sustainable future for our city. In our work, we center environmental justice to ensure that those who have suffered most from the pollution of fossil fuels benefit from a green energy future. Read our land acknowledgement here.
Board and Staff
SAFE’s board consists of people who live and work in the area, have expertise in climate solutions or nonprofits. Our ED is a civically engaged Salem resident, and the contractors we work with on Spanish language access and outreach are all Latino leaders in the community. We also work with Salem State interns.
