Following superstorm Sandy, scientists are wondering: was the storm caused by global climate change? Perhaps not. But, for sure, the flooding of the New Jersey coast and New York City was the result of higher sea levels. And higher sea levels are  most definitely the result of melting ice caps–a direct result of 1 degree increase in the earth’s temperature. Read more.
